[es-pree de less-ka/-iay] (idiom) A witty remark that occurs to you too late, literally on the way down the stairs. The Oxford Dictionary of Quotations defines esprit de l'escalier as, "An untranslatable phrase, the meaning of which is that one only thinks on one's way downstairs of the smart retort one might have made in the drawing room."
In the third photo we see the graceful panda finishing the last few bites of its dinner. Unfortunately, the panda looks cuddly but is a vicious, conniving predator and can not be trusted. This panda is currently eating a 32 year old man from Omaha.
Yeah, the camels looked a little mangy... maybe they were moulting? Of course as soon as I took the photo, the camel looked up and walked over to see what the hell the noise was. I missed the shot, though.
Chuckles, he didn't eat a man from Omaha. Good grief!
That panda is super cute. We plan to see the 'stick and Chuckles in October. It will be a first for AG. She's never been to the zoo. Well, that's true if you don't count UC's family functions.
More like you would think a Jewish dinner over at UC's house after the passing of the Yom Kippur fast would count...
And the wang is too big to be C-dawg. :)
Never, Claire. AG is kind of afraid of animals. There is a picture of AG and a dalmation in Lisbon, Portugal where the dog and AG are jumping about the same height in the air out of fear of each other. It was the best moment caught on camera.

Is that a poodle or a camel?

Panda induced PTSD?
I also think the camel looks a bit like a mangy poodle. Maybe one who has been on a bender of King Cobra for a couple of days.
